Constitution Day

Monday was Constitution Day. We celebrated by studying The Preamble of the Constitution and discovered that it was kind of like an introduction ( we have been studying introductions in writing). The Preamble explains the reasons for writing the Constitution. Some of the words in our Preamble are not exactly fourth grade friendly so we worked together to translate it into our own words. We will soon begin our government unit and continue to study the Constitution and how our government works.
